Hiking Rules

Hiking is a sport that is suitable for everyone, young or old, experienced or not. However, country parks are also the home of many plants and animals, and when you go out hiking, there are some things that you need to remember.

1.

Do not create any fires outside designated areas (BBQ Pits)

3.

Do not try dangerous activities (rock climbing, mountain biking) unless you are or with a professional.

5.

Do not take anything away from the country parks (including flowers, animals, etc.) except photos

7.

Respect the environment. Do not speak loudly or shout.

9.

Do not go to dangerous places (into rapids, into caves, etc.)

11.

Do not feed any wild animals

2.

Do not create any fires outside designated areas (BBQ Pits)

4.

Do not dispose any garbage, small or big, inside the country park (along the trails, in the forest). Bring your rubbish home.

6.

Leave only your footprint.

8.

Do not damage the trail, the plants around, or the facilities.

10.

Leave everything as it is when you came.

12.

These rules are there for both your safety and for the good of the environment. Follow these rules and you will enjoy your countryside activity as much as you could.
