BLACK HILL

Climb the hill, and savour fabulous views!

Onward! This part of the trail starts to get more challenging! As you start your way up the stairs, (you could take a rest in the pavilion along the way), don't forget to also look out for the views on either side! You could see the Kowloon Peninsula on your left and TKO on your right! Though not the best of the trail, these views certainly are quite fabulous. This part of the trail is less sheltered, so remember to stay hydrated!

As you arrive at a peak, don't let that fool you! It is only the lower peak of Black Hill; the real peak is still ahead, where there are a couple of solar panels. (Actually, they might not be; I have no idea)

But the trail now enters the forest, and the walk up the real peak isn't much of a challenge. As you scale the second peak, passing by another Pavillion, take a moment to marvel at the scenery in front of you.

But don't stay for too long! Most of the trail and the most challenging of the trail is still ahead of you! Continuing on the rocky track, entering and exiting the forest, and following the Wilson Trail signs for turns, you would soon arrive at a main road. Turn right, and you would arrive at the small village of Ma Yau Tong! Keep on the road, and you would find yourself on the bustling road of Po Lam Road! Again, you can exit to TKO or Kowloon by taking a ride on one of the buses, especially if it's starting to get late. But if not, and you're feeling fine, continue on, as the best part is still way ahead!
