SHA TIN PASS
An easy finish, with an unforgettable view of Hong Kong
As the long day draws to a close, so does our hike! But the night is just starting, and from above, you could watch as the city under you comes to light! Like candles, the buildings and streetlights and skyscrapers all turn on their lights as the sun slips below the horizon!

As you walk along Sha Tin Pass Road, you could almost always keep an eye on the Kowloon Peninsula along with Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island, as the city comes alight. Now, the walk on the road is as relaxing as it can be, as you follow the road down towards Sha Tin Pass, while still savouring views of the city.

As time goes on, the city becomes more bright! You can even get a better night view of the city in the Jat's Incline Viewing spot! Like the sunset view, this night view is certainly a moving landscape that you would like to come back to enjoy again later in the future.

On this road, you don't even have to worry about the darkness while you walk, as there are streetlights all along the road, and many hikers and runners would still rather to walk or run down, sometimes even up, rather than calling a taxi. Even though the downward slope is considerably steep, walking slowly while enjoying the views is a moment you'll never forget.

As the sun disappears behind the clouds or horizon, shining its golden rays for a final minute, you would soon arrive at Sha Tin Pass, with the famous Lion's Pavillion. Here, you can turn left to keep on Sha Tin Pass Road, and leave the Wilson Trail. Before long, you would be in Tsz Wan Shan, knowing that just moments ago, you have been looking down upon this great city. And here, is the finishing point of the long but spectacular hike.
