DRAGON'S BACK VIEW COMPASS
Treat yourself to some extraordinary sunset views and breath-taking scenery.
As you leave Shek O Peak with a sense of achievement, you would be surprised to find yourself very close to the next peak on the ridge, where the view compass stands.

Here, the view is at the western side, and you could find Tai Tam Harbour, Red Hill, Turtle Cove, Lo Fu Shan and many more all with the help of the view compass. But the best of all with this landscape, is that when it is sunset, the sun's golden rays shine across the harbour, making the scenery even more beautiful.

Once you are ready to continue on, the trail now sharply declines, and you would now be walking downwards. Here, because of the decline, many people usually take photos of the Dragon's Back ahead of them, as here, you could see the ridge clearly.

Walking down the winding staircase, no sooner than you started to walk downwards does the trail start to go upwards again. What do you expect from a ridge? It's a string of peaks together! But don't worry, the climb is short, because Wan Cham Shan, the next peak ahead, is too dangerous to continue on, so you would leave the ridge soon after.

You would come to a resting area again, and before continuing on, have a short rest and enjoy the last view of Shek O and the channel before leaving the ridge.
