STARTING OFF
The trail starts off with a challenging climb! Are you ready for it?
After you arrive at To Tei Wan, get ready for the hardest climb of the trail! The staircase up to the ridge might seem everlasting and steep at times, but take it slowly, and you would get there with time.
The trail starts in the forest, and then goes under the sun, but the scenery along the way would motivate you to continue on. All the way, you could view Red Hill and Tai Tam Harbour from a distance. There is even a picnic site along the way that could give you an opening for some even better photos!

Soon, you would arrive at Dragon's Back View Point. There is a wooden lookout platform for everyone to rest for a moment from the hard climb and enjoy the landscape stretched out in front of you. Some people even stay until sunset to get a good sunset view!

Continuing on, the path finally flattens out, and you would be relieved to hear that the hardest segment of the trail has just passed. Now, the hike should turn into a relaxing walk with occasional breezes to cool you off.

At the intersection after the view point, turn right, following the signs for Dragon's Back, and after a few more stairs, a spectacular view of Shek O opens up in front of you. Here, you could look down from a cliff the small town, with the Tathong Channel connecting with the sea. You could also savour the view of the smooth skies and seas, with distant islands jutting out from the smooth plane of the sea.
